<li class="ingredient">1 pound phyllo dough</li>
<li class="ingredient">5 cups blanched almonds or walnuts, chopped</li>
<li class="ingredient">1/3 cup powdered sugar</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 tablespoon orange blossom water</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 cup unsalted butter, softened</li>
<li class="ingredient">1 ½ cups attar</li>

<h4>Instructions</h4>
<ol class="instructions">
<li>Mix the nuts, sugar and orange blossom water. Place 5 sheets of the phyllo on top of each other, brushing each layer with butter. Place 1 cup of the nut mixture on one end of the sheets and roll. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Place the rolls in a greased pan and brush with butter. Bake at 375 degrees oned for 1 hour, or until golden brown. Add the attar and let it cool. Cut each roll on an angle 1 ½ inches long and serve.</li>

<li>Dissolve the yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water and ¼ teaspoon sugar.</li>
<li>Let it rise. Mix the flour, salt. Add the yeast, water and beat until you get the consistency as pancakes mix.</li>
<li>Set aside for4 hours and let it rise.</li>
<li>Heat the oil on medium fire to high fire.</li>
<li>Dip a tablespoon in water, picking up a small portion of the batter, and dropping them into the hot oil.</li>
<li>Fry until light brown.</li>
<li>Remove and dip in cold <a href="/middle-eastern-syrup/" target="_blank">Attar</a>.</li>
