Recipe: LAMB SHANKS STEW

Summary: SERVE THIS TASTY STEW WIRH RICE

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces lamb shanks
  • 4 carrots cut in big piece
  • 4 potatoes in big chunks
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  •  2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice water

Instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker cook the shanks with the cinnamon sticks and water for about 45 minutes or until the meat is very tender. Remove the meat and debone. Discard the bones. In another add potatoes, carrots, salt, seasonings and enough from the cooking liquid to cover everything. Add the tomato paste. Cook until the vegetables are done. Serve with rice.
