Recipe: cauliflower stew
Summary: tasty vegeterian stew
Ingredients
- 2 heads cauliflower, cleaned and cut in small florets
- 2 onions sliced thin
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cilantro, cleaned and chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sumac
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- oil for frying the cauliflower
- 1/3 cup oil
Instructions
- Fry the cauliflower in oil until browned. Saute the onions in the 1/3 cup oil until browned. Add the garlic and the cilantro and cook for 2 minutes. Add the cooked cauliflower to the onions and garlic. Add the salt, pepper, sumac and lemon juice. Cook for 15 minutes. And serve over rice.
