Summary: This simple chocolate glaze is used on many french cakes and deep intense chocolate flavor

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 12 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  •  16 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream and corn syrup and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2.  Reduce to low and add the chocolate. Whisk until smooth and melted, about 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand for about 10 minutes.
  4.  The glaze should be thick put pourable.
  5. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
