Recipe: Cinnamon French Toast: Healthy with a delicious cinnamon and nutmeg flavor.

Summary: The vanilla soy milk makes this recipe very tasty and healthy.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  •  ½ cup vanilla soy milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • cooking spray
  • 5 slices multi-grain bread, cut in half
  • maple syrup or any fruit jelly

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs, soy milk, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spray a pan with cooking spray over medium heat. Soak the bread in the egg mixture for a few seconds. Cook for a few minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with the syrup or jam.
