Recipe: GROUND MEAT STUFFING (HASHWEH)

Summary: Have it with pita bread or top over hommus.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground meat (lamb or beef)
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of each black pepper and all spice
  • ¼ cup pine nuts

Instructions

  1. Brown the pine nuts in oil on medium heat. Set aside. Saute onions until golden brown. Add the meat with the salt and both peppers until done. Remove from heat. Add the pinenuts. Serve with pita bread or for stuffing.
