Recipe: Pancakes with pomegranate seeds and syrup

Summary: This recipe is the brain child of one of my husband’s colleagues Negovan. This is a delicious and healthy way to start your morning. It is so tasty and specially healthy because pomegranate is a powerful antioxidant and tangy delicious.


  • your favorite pancakes recipe
  • 1 pomegranate
  • Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice


  1. Peel the pomegranate and remove the seeds.
  2. Add 1/2 cup pomegranate to the batter to make 8 large pancakes.
  3. For the syrup: Mix the maple syrup and pomegranate juice over low heat for 5 minutes or until heated through
  4. Serve the pancakes with maple pomegranate syrup.
