Recipe: Cream of mushroom soup: Creamy and rich earthy flavor

Summary: This recipe is very easy to make. You can any of your favorite mushrooms


  • ½ pound sliced mushroom
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onions
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  •  ¼ teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup whipping cream


  1. Melt the butter, and add onions and mushroom. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Whisk in the flour until browned. Add the chicken broth slowly and keep stirring till smooth. Cook the soup for 25 minutes. Add the cream, salt pepper and nutmeg. Cook for 5 minutes more.
