Recipe: Attar, middle eastern syrup (القطر)
Summary: This syrup is used on substantial variety of middle eastern sweets and desserts, in Arabic it’s pronounced attar or katter.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup water
- 1.tablespoon flower water also know as Orange Blossom Water
- Optional 1/2 tablespoon flower water and 1/2 tablespoon of Rose water
Instructions
- Boil sugar and water for seven minutes. Let it cool. Add flower water and “that is it” so simple and easy.
